District dues for 2008 should be sent to Mike Ruleman, 2107 W. Beverley St. Staunton VA 24401, payable to 'Woodrow Wilson District'. Dues are $1.00 per active member, based on the club's January 1st, 2008 membership roll.

Club Membership Night

If your club has a membership night, the District will give your club $50 towards the expenses of your event. Call District Treasurer Mike Ruleman at 540-885-2215 for your club's check or ask any member of the cabinet. This money is available once every year.

North River Ruritan Club

  • Meeting Place: North River Elementary School, 3395 Scenic Hwy, Mt. Solon
  • Club Night: Third Tuesday at 7:00 pm
  • Service Projects: Support Bridgewater, Churchville & Mt. Solon Fire Depts & Rescue Squads, provide emergency funds to individuals, provide "Rudy Bears" to local Rescue Squads and contribute to a worthy charity at Christmas time (rather than have entertainment at the Club's Christmas dinner. Support the 4-H & FFA Animal Show, FFA Foundation, State Parliamentary Contest and recognize North River Elementary School Teachers. Contribute to and award Ruritan Foundation Grant program and support Boys/Girls State. Charter and contribute to Cub Scout Pack 333, contribute to Hunters for the Hungry & Weekday Religious Education & Habitat for Humanity & community youth programs including baseball. Participate in and promote Augusta County Clean-up Week, promote tree seedling sales and provide grounds beautification at North River Elementary School.
  • Fundraisers: Farm Equipment Auction held on the third Saturday in March each year at North River Elementary School.-for 2008, our auction will be held on the 4th Saturday on March 22nd.
